Marita Gomez applies the four disciplines of effective communications to build brands, increase company awareness and reputation, and promote thought leadership.

She is a former journalist who has worked in print and broadcast media before transitioning to the healthcare space. 

Prior to joining Avalere, Marita honed her skills at boutique, independent, and network agencies serving in account management, content strategy, and corporate communications.

Marita holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
