Nyima Touray  is a co-founder of the Everywoman and works as an accountant for one of the largest independent chartered accountancy groups in the west of England,MHA Monahans. Nyima is a graduate of Southampton Solent University where she received a 2:1 Upper in  Ba (Hons ) Business Management in 2008.

After graduation, she launched her career in Bristol in the civil service working for the Job Centre (Department for Work and Pension). She was secretary general for women's welfare for local charity, Kombo Sillah Association KSA and currently serves as the Vice president for Bristol based charity Senegambia Hidden Talent,
an association that creates  a platform for the youths of Senegambia origin in the  Bristol area to help showcase talents, and coach the development of such talents for the ultimate realisation of their full potentials.

Nyima hails from a background of activism and is a  defender of women rights. She was part of the campaign team of the Gambia's first female presidential candidate in 2016. She was a co host on the women's hour show on Freedom radio.

Monica Njie

Monica Njie, Founder  of The Everywoman, a feminist, radio presenter, social activist, gender activist and an advocate for women`s rights. Monica is creative, flexible and enthusiastic and well known for her ability and capacity to work with people from different background and an excellent team builder. She is conscientious, hardworking, pays attention to detail and open for new skills and eager to learn from others.

She is currently the presenter of the popular Everywoman show on West coast and a political show on capital FM, Gambia and has in addition presented programs on Kibaaro radio.

Ndey Jobarteh

Ndey Jobarteh is a Co-founder of The EveryWoman, a feminist activist, enthusiastic professional with 20years of experience in business development, project development and organisational management. She has a passion for service- delivery, is result oriented and genuinely cares for the diverse people who benefit from her various endeavours. She is an author of the The Rabbit and the Bean Farm.

Ndey has an MBA in Organisation and Management, Msc in Development Studies and a Phd Module in Development Studies. She worked as an Account Manager for Ria Financial Services Norway. Founder and Executive Director, Jobs Consulting Competence Development and Entrepreneurship (JOKODE),Norway. Owner/Executive Director, Jobs Consulting, Norway. Yassin Jeng

Yassin is a Co-founder of The Everywoman, an activist and feminist advocating for the rights of women and the girl child and is well known for promoting Youth and Women Empowerment in her community. 

Because of her driving passion and  keen interest in the development and welfare of women, Yassin interacts with various women organisations set out to Empower Women at all levels in our community.

Yassin is a mother and aims at using the platform of  The EveryWoman  to bring out her best in raising awareness on women and gender issues.

Neneh Bojang

Neneh Bojang is a Co-founder Of The EveryWoman, a focused and highly motivated management professional, with 15 years of extensive experience in  Norwegian legislation on work, welfare and social security rights and entitlements. She has years of experience in  social security benefits, government financial support to employers, education, training and employment opportunities. She is passionate in administration and management of social security benefits, retirement and pension schemes and entitlements.  Utilizing her background in Norwegian legislation on work, welfare and social security, she organizes and leads information and awareness-raising meetings and sessions to develop comprehensive programs based on the employment needs and mission of the government. Her management skills was rewarded, in 1999 she was awarded the Manager of the Month by Fastlink(UK)

She is an innovative and energetic team player, relationship builder, and highly effective communicator.   She is a hard working and enthusiastic person with a solid understanding of employment, welfare and social security. Throughout her career, she has been driven by a dual sense of social justice and the need to facilitate change through long term policy vision. Her passion for social justice led her to leadership of the European Network to combat Female Genital Mutilation in Europe. As a strong communication and presentation skills as a Radio and TV presenter was reward, In 2015 she was awarded the TV Presenter of the Year Award by Interface Gambia(UK).  She has strong work ethics, irreproachable integrity and passion for results.

She has an MA  in Political Science, BA in Political Science and a Diploma in Political Science. She works as a Consultant at the Norwegian Directorate for Work, Welfare and Social Security- Government of Norway. Founder and Executive Director of The Inter-African Committee in Norway (IAC Norway). President of The Euronet FGM Network, Europe. Co-founder and Vice Chairwoman of The Gambia House.

Maimuna Sey

Maimuna Sey, Co-founder of The EveryWoman, a feminist and gender activist who has always been interested in advocating for empowerment, greater sexual freedom and social justice for women and girls and known for her position in challenging predominant hierarchies and ideologies around sex gender and race.

A trained and experienced teacher from Gambia, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from The University of Tromsø, Norway, MBA modules in International Development, International Politics and Gender studies from The Norwegian University of Life Sciences and previously researched on Migration, Human Trafficking and Prostitution. She is currently pursuing an MBA in Sociology at the University of Oslo with an ongoing research on Norwegian Immigration legislation and policies designed to counter trafficking.

Maimuna currently work with the Norwegian peoples Aid as Resettlement and Return adviser for refugees and Asylum seekers and has a wide range of expertise and long experience within this field. Skilled and Experience in working interdisciplinary and with diverse groups, She Works as a consultant with the Museum of Oslo, Oslo World Music Festival (Barnasverdensdager) and has collaborated with organizations and agencies within the fields of Culture and migration in Oslo.

A board member of The Norwegian Peoples Aid Kristiania and former Board member of The Africa Center for Information and Development (ACID), Norway and Spokesperson for the Working Committee for Gambians in Oslo.
